Application Process
Step 1 – Online Form
Please complete our online application form. To complete this form you will need:
A portfolio (only one pdf file). You may submit between 10 and 20 images of your artwork. Works can be in any medium, for example, drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, installation, etc. The images should include captions or short descriptions, including when the work was made, the medium, and a sentence or two about your ideas for the artwork.
A prepared 300-word statement telling us about your interests in attending FieldWorks Gap Year program, spending time on our farm in Wexford, dedicating 12 weeks to making art, and travelling in Ireland.
The name and contact information of a current or former teacher or professor. This teacher also must send a letter of recomendation directly to info@cowhousestudios.com at the time of your application.
Step 2 – Interview
Cow House Co-Director Rosie O’Gorman will schedule a time to speak on Zoom. This interview ensures that our program is the right fit and presents an opportunity for you to ask Rosie any questions you might have about the program.
Step 3 – Deposit
A deposit of €3100 is due upon confirmation of acceptance.
Step 4 – Remaining Fees
The balance of the fee is due Friday, June 30th, 2024. For registrations made after June 30th, 2024, tuition is due in full at the time of registration.
