Sabina Mac Mahon (Ireland)

Sabina Mac Mahon lives in her native Dublin, Ireland. She received a Joint Honours BA in History of Art and Fine Art (Painting) from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin in 2008 and is interested in art history, saints, fiction, history, truth and narrative. She was invited to take part in The Guesthouse’s residency programme in Cork in 2012 and has shown her work in group and solo exhibitions in Ireland and abroad.

Shiro Masuyama (Japan)

Responding to architectural spaces, Masuyama creates site specific projects, interventions and installations. Born in Tokyo, Masuyama is currently based in Belfast. He received both his Bachelor of Architecture (1995) and his Master of Architecture (1997); from Meiji University, Kawasaki, Japan. Since 2002 he has worked nomadically, taking part in residencies all overthe world including Flaxart studios, Belfast (2009), AIR artist-in-residence Krems, Austria (2008), Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin (2006) and Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2004-05). Between 2004 and 2011 he was based in Berlin, Germany, and in 2006 he founded nomadic residency project, “ART No.11”.

Antony Clarkson (UK)

Clarkson’ practice is situation specific, consisting of painting, sculpture and installation. Currently based in Cheshire England, Clarkson received both his BA Fine Art: Painting (2008) and his MA Fine Art (2009) from Manchester Metropolitan University. Recently, Clarkson has exhibited at the Chinese Arts Centre, Manchester (2010) and at the Finnish Academy of Fine Art, Helsinki (2010).

Hilary Wilder (USA)

Wilder works in painting, installation and video. She received her M.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2001. Wilder is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, and a Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Professional Fellowship. Wilder has exhibited work in solo exhibitions at venues that include The Suburban (Oak Park, Illinois), Open Satellite (Seattle), the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, and Devin Borden Gallery (Houston), and in group exhibitions throughout the US. Her videos have been screened at festivals at the University of Southern California, The Pacific Film Archive, and Chicago International Film Festival, among others. She has recently participated in artist residencies at the Ucross Foundation, the Jentel Foundation, and at the Association of Icelandic Visual Artists (SIM) in Reykjavik.
